GROWING UP I NEVER FIT IN. I QUICKLY GRAVITATED TO THE ARTS, AND HAVE BEEN IN LOVE EVER SINCE. I ALSO LEARNED TO LOVE ROAD TRIPS, AND THE JOURNEY IT TAKES TO GET SOMEWHERE. JUST AS AN ATLAS IS USED TO MAP OUT THE ROADS IN WHICH YOU MUST FOLLOW TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION, SO A PHOTOGRAPH IS A MAP TO SOMEONES UNKNOWN SELF. EACH PHOTO I TAKE, I SEE A SPARK OF SOMETHING THAT I CANT VISUALIZE ANY OTHER WAY. THE SPARK OF LONELINESS , OF JOY , OF HEARTACHE , OF ACCEPTANCE. these show us the parts of ourselves we often don't want to see. but we must see them to grow, and we must realize who we are so that we will know who we need to become.
